Cleaning AirPods
Materials Needed:
- Soft, dry, lint-free cloth
- Cotton swabs
- Isopropyl alcohol wipes
Steps:
- Remove the ear tips: Gently remove the silicone ear tips from each AirPod.
- Clean the ear tips: Rinse the ear tips with water. Do not use soap or other household cleaners. Wipe them with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth and let them completely dry before reattaching to each AirPod.
- Clean the AirPods: Wipe your AirPods and Charging Case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with isopropyl alcohol.
- Clean the microphone and speaker meshes: Carefully use a dry cotton swab to clean the microphone and speaker meshes.
Cleaning Earbuds
Materials Needed:
- Soft, dry, lint-free cloth
- Cotton swabs
- Isopropyl alcohol wipes
- Toothpick
Steps:
- Remove the ear tips: If your earbuds have silicone tips, remove them before cleaning.
- Clean the ear tips: Rinse the ear tips with water. Let them air dry completely before reattaching.
- Clean the earbuds: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the earbuds. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with isopropyl alcohol.
- Clean the meshes: Use a dry cotton swab to clean the meshes. If there’s any debris, carefully remove it using a toothpick.
Cleaning Headphones
Materials Needed:
- Soft, dry, lint-free cloth
- Cotton swabs
- Isopropyl alcohol wipes
Steps:
- Clean the ear cups: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the ear cups. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with isopropyl alcohol.
- Clean the headband: Wipe the headband using a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
- Clean the audio jack: Use a dry cotton swab to clean the audio jack.
Note: Avoid getting moisture in any openings to prevent damage. Don’t use aerosol sprays, solvents, or abrasives.
